Champagne and cigars on centre ice. So what? Get over it.
With all the fuss over the Canadian women’s hockey team celebrating after their GOLD MEDAL WIN with a drink and a cigar on centre ice, you’d think that they’d taken the Zamboni for a ride through Stanley Park. They won the gold medal, after all.
That great poem from the Vancouver Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony
One of the few things that went right at the Opening Ceremonies – slam poet Shane Koyczan delivered an inspired version of his poem, “We Are More”. It brought tears to our eyes. It could actually be Canada is Better’s theme song (if we could get April Wine to write the music).
